GTL Sessions (Mykonos, Greece)

TPI organized for the first time ever a new tradeshow event giving the opportunity for entertainment specialist suppliers to meet directly with Tour Managers.

The inaugural event took place between 7-10th May, 2024 and is planned for Mykonos again in May 2025 (exact dates TBA)

Suppliers in attendance were specialized live touring suppliers such as entertainment hoteliers, touring equipment transporters, dedicated entertainment travel agencies.

The event consists of a welcome dinner day of arrival; two days of “speed meetings” with tour managers incorporating some speaker sessions related to the touring industry; a final dinner and departures next day.

It is an opportunity to meet and create awareness directly to the Tour Manager of your hotel, noting to continue the relationship via the entertainment agency the tour manager uses.

Approximately 30 Tour Managers attended the inaugural event, with a total group of 65 including suppliers. The number is expected to double for 2025 on both supplier and buyer side.

Tour Connection Events (LA, New York, Nashville)

Tour Connection is an entertainment platform that connects entertainment travel bookers with the supplier community.  They host three major events in the U.S. annually, in Los Angeles (March), New York City (May), and Nashville (October).  They also occasionally host smaller “TCU – Tour Connection University” events in alternate cities.

In order to participate in Tour Connection events, which are invite-only for suppliers, hotels must be registered members of Tour Connection.  Information regarding membership and upcoming events is available on their website:  https://www.tourconnection.com/

Live Production Summit (formerly the Tour Link Pro conference):

LPS conference will take place in January in Palm Springs, California. The Live Production Summit differs from Tour Connection because it is not a travel focused show, although there is a travel component.  Hoteliers will have the opportunity to meet key Tour Managers who ultimately make the decisions on where they will place their artists and bands.  This is also a lesser expensive alternative to Tour Connection.  More information is available on their website:  https://www.liveproductionsummit.com/

SET (Specialists in Entertainment Travel)

This is a new entertainment tradeshow, hosted by the House of Beyond (creators of L.E/Miami). Scheduled to take place in November, this show will feature 130 buyers and 120 suppliers.  Both buyers and suppliers are included by Invitation Only and must go through a rigorous vetting process before being accepted into the show.  For more information, please contact Wendie Esposito and Michelle Streeter.
