2021 Direct Travel Requirements

  • Rates offered to Direct Travel must be commissionable and must be competitive with any unrestricted commissionable rates offered to any other travel agency, consortium, third party Internet sites or your hotel company’s Internet site.
  • Last room availability
  • Rates offered can be traditional consortia rates, Best Available Rates or Best Available Rates with a discount.

  • Basic property information displayed on the Direct Travel online hotel directory
  • Authorization to load rates in the GDSs under a unique rate access code

Advantage – US $850

  • Basic property information displayed on the Direct Travel online hotel directory

Premium – US $1,000

Offer Direct Value Rates! Marketing Opportunities for your hotel

Load secondary rates on a separate rate access code by agreeing to the following conditions:

  • At least 10% off BAR and/or at least 15% commission PLUS at least TWO of the following:
  • 4 pm cancellation (local time)
  • Unlimited Wi-Fi access in guest rooms and common areas
  • Breakfast/meal voucher for each guest included in the reservation
  • Early check in and/or late check out
  • Free parking
  • Club level access
  • Double loyalty points
  • Bottle of water in room

Hotels participating in Direct Value rates will receive special recognition and will be authorized to load these rates under a secondary rate access code. Direct Value rates must be commissionable, but can be LRA or NLRA.
