Suzanne Shogren, who brings 24 years of experience in hotel sales, training and development of sales teams, is Regional Director of Ownership Group services for Cvent, a global provider of online software for the events industry based in McLean, Virginia.
Working within the Cvent Hospitality Cloud, her primary responsibilities include managing corporate partnerships (at the C-Suite level) with hotel Ownership groups and Asset management firms across the spectrum of composition (from private equity to public Real Estate Investment Trusts). Using data to identify new targets for partnership development opportunities, taking a comprehensive, consultative strategic adviser approach, and demonstrate complete account management skills to show value to the hospitality industry beyond marketing into analytics, productivity tools, mobile technology and more.
Suzanne has worked with Preferred Hotels & Resorts for over 2 years, and states that her greatest accomplishment was to get PH&R recognized as a Chain on Cvent, to allow the highest customer access and visibility on the Digital platform.
Suzanne began her hospitality career by establishing a catering business to serve the television industry. She earned a bachelor of science degree in organizational communication at Ohio University, Athens, and a master of science degree in organization development and knowledge management at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia.
