Paul Samadani

Samadani launched his career in the 1980s providing physical security services in the Middle East. With the advent of personal computing and networking, his interests shifted to electronic and cyber security where his experience in physical security has been a key differentiator on how he develops his digital security strategies. He has developed a passion and skill for IT security that goes beyond a job requirement. He believes that “In order to secure our electronic system globally, we must all come together from the public and private sectors with open minds to share information and find solutions.” He partners with many law enforcement agencies and private corporations and provides assistance with ongoing cyber investigations. He serves on the boards of several IT-related professional and trade organizations. His technical work experience includes attack and penetration testing, computer network defense, incident response, forensic investigations, and analysis.
Samadani was born in Iran to a Persian father and Azeri mother. He grew up in Iran, Germany, and the United States. As an adult he has lived in the Middle East, Asia, and North America with his wife Eiko who is from Osaka, Japan, and their two children, Alisa and Kenzo.
