This partnership enables Aeroplan members to redeem their miles directly for hotel stays at participating Preferred properties, creating an opaque and incremental revenue stream for hotels.

Program Overview

This initiative is centered around a dedicated rate plan that offers 20% off Best Available Rate (BAR) exclusively to Aeroplan members. The rate is loaded across all room types and is designed to be opaque, non-commissionable, and exclusive to the Loyalty Travel Channel. Your Hotel's default cancel and guarantee policies are applied. The rate is net, non-commissionable, black-out dates can apply.

This rate is not available via GDS, booking engines, or other public channels. It is exclusively distributed through the Loyalty Travel Channel, ensuring targeted exposure to Aeroplan members.

Bookings made through this channel follow a Virtual Credit Card (VCC) payment model, simplifying transactions and ensuring secure payment handling.

Payment Guidelines:

  • Full pre-payment required 7 days prior to arrival
  • VCC is used for room, tax, and mandatory fees
  • Guest is responsible for incidentals and additional charges
  • Hotel payment is through VCC and may be charged no earlier than 4 days before check-in and no later than 4 days after check-out
    • Hotels are encouraged to charge the VCC at check-out for accuracy

The credit card used at booking is for guarantee purposes only. Hotels should confirm payment details with the booker before processing.
