The Asia MICE Forum at Royal Plaza on Scotts Singapore, December 10-12, 2019, was an outstanding success.
Our Asia MICE Forum was an opportunity for member hotels to come together to hear from senior industry experts and key clients about current trends and business approaches that are relevant in today’s very competitive global MICE market. It afforded the opportunity to collaborate on techniques for finding new business, tips for working successfully with clients from Asia, Europe and North America, and recommended practices for the MICE sales process including increasing your venue visibility, conducting effective sales calls and site inspections - all designed to support your business objectives.
In addition to the MICE Forum, we hosted a successful Singapore Client Event on Thursday, December 12. The Singapore Client Event was a trade-show style reception that allowed member hotels to represent their respective properties and network with clients from the Singapore area. Clients invited to this event included top group travel managers, incentive, and meeting planners.
We hope this meeting fostered a better understanding of the newest Preferred Group Sales initiatives and provided our hotel partners the opportunity to connect with key Preferred Group Sales team members from Asia, Europe, and North America.
